A few friends
behind the scenes.
CornerCat’s interface and workflows sit on a collection of open-source tools. They make the useful bits possible.
yt-dlp
CornerCat uses yt-dlp to handle media downloads. Its bundled macOS executable includes components distributed under GPLv3+. Exact versions and source information ship with the app.
FFmpeg & FFprobe
FFmpeg and FFprobe handle media processing and inspection. CornerCat includes native Apple Silicon helpers, their license notices, build information, and corresponding source materials alongside the installer.
Electron & Lucide
The app uses Electron for its desktop interface and Lucide icons. Their notices are included in the application. CornerCat’s macOS glass bridge is first-party code using public Apple APIs.
Source materials
See THIRD_PARTY.md in the installer and the bundled media-source archive for exact component versions, licenses, and reproduction instructions.
CornerCat itself is a separate application. These credits don’t imply endorsement by the projects above.
